Craig joined Rutherford Rede in mid 2022 after 11+ years with ANZ Bank. In his last role, Craig was Regional Manager for ANZ Private, responsible for the Auckland and Northland regions, leading a team of up to 50 staff.

Craig was introduced to investments at an early age through his maternal grandfather, the seeds of which led to his career in financial services starting in the mid 1980s. Craig has held a variety of operations and product related roles in the financial services sector, before moving into relationship and business development roles. As his interest in investment advice grew, Craig completed his investment qualifications between 2009 – 2012, thus paving the way to move into financial advice. Craig enjoys building lasting, trusted relationships with his clients and assisting clients to achieve their lifestyle goals through sound investment planning.

Craig lives on the North Shore with his wife and two teenage daughters. He enjoys the lifestyle offered in and around Auckland, getting out on the water paddle-boarding through the Summer months and fitting in as much golf with friends and clients as time will permit.

Craig has developed expertise in helping clients who have come into money suddenly due to changes in their lives, such as large Lotto winners, family inheritance, and business sale proceeds.
