Joy has over 25 years experience in leadership roles within the financial services sector, primarily in banking, leading profitable business units and providing strong investment governance. Joy is active in various executive roles which include Chair and Independent Director of Simplicity NZ Ltd, Shareholder and impact consultant at New Ground Capital, Director of Impact Enterprise fund and Independent Director for Strategi Group. Since 1995 Joy has completed a Certified Investment Analyst, NZX Diploma, Institute of Directors Senior Management Governance accreditation, Certified for Hogan Assessments, Institute of Directors Company Directors’ Course, Shaping our Future through Massey University, Insight Programme through Macquarie University – Sydney, Lean Six Sigma Sponsor and EY Darden University Executive Programme. Much of Joy’s career has been focused on supporting New Zealanders who are seeking to achieve their financial aspirations.
