Kio joined Rutherford Rede in June 2021. As a Paraplanner, he is excited to support the advisers and his fellow team members to achieve the best outcomes for our clients. Kio studied Economics and Finance at The University of Auckland and has also completed the New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5). Prior to joining Rutherford Rede, Kio entered the industry working to support advisers with the provision of Life and Health Insurance.

Outside of work, Kio enjoys spending time with friends and whanau especially his two young nephews. Together with the rest of his whanau, they have purchased a whare near Te Kaha on the East Coast as a get away from the city and a place to enjoy the summer months. Beyond that, Kio enjoys the quiet moments with a good book or tv show.
