Will joined Rutherford Rede in 2017 as an associate before becoming an adviser in 2019.

He studied Economics and Finance at AUT then went on to gain a graduate diploma in business studies with a financial planning endorsement at Massey University.

His work experience includes working within large financial institutions since the early 2000’s, before a desire to help people with their finances led to a shift to providing financial advice in 2017.

Having grown up in the Eastern Suburbs, Will now resides not far away from his family home with his wife Leonora and dog Frank. He has an interest in home DIY, social sports, (Cricket and Squash) as well as the arts.

Will’s client focus extends to individuals, families, trusts, and charitable organizations to help them define, articulate, and prioritise their objectives and use investment strategies to help them achieve them.

His personal experience of losing both his parents along with his wife’s parents by age 35 has led to a particular interest in helping people navigate the process of succession planning and dealing with sudden wealth. 

His experiences have led him to become an advocate to encourage people to spend their money while able, rather than leaving it behind.
